Jesus And Kids Evangelistic Saddle Club horses are the foundation of the ministry serving children and families with love and gentleness only they can provide. Each horse is named for a chapter and verse of the Bible. A simple way to share.
JAKES Club horses (geldings only) are acquired in many ways but mainly by donation to help the ministry. What a huge help it is!

Trainers
JAKES Club horses have always had care and devotion from many sources, but none more then Jacob. He began Training underneath the mentoring of a devote Christian man and long established trainer, George Allen, in the fall of 2000. At the age of 9, Jacob was always: following, asking questions, practicing and asking again. George, in his gentle manner would care for and safely instruct, always leading and praying Jacob through whatever the horse would need.
As George's health began changing, Jacob and his dad Joe began heavily studying Clinton Anderson techniques along with John Lyons, Pat Parelli and others. Over the years, Jacob has gleaned from all these trainers. However, he has continually developed his own style, remembering "Jacob, always stay true to your love of horses, make the training work for you and each horses individual personality."
