Jesus And Kids Evangelistic Saddle Club
where every rider is able with Jesus in the stable;
one child with one horse at a time!
Jesus and Kids is a place where children and their families can love the horses and be loved by people who care for them. We are a family-operated, non-profit stable located at New Beginnings Equestrian Farm, just 37 miles east of Kansas City in Oak Grove, Missouri - eastern Jackson County.
In 2000 the co-founder asked "I wonder if you can do something with Jesus and horses?" The Lord's reply was, "Yes!" and He established an independent, non-denominational, Christian-based ministry.
We serve children FREE of charge with one basic beginning Horsemanship and Riding program but in two different capacities:
Youth 10 and older train alongside their parent(s) so they may be peer models with children (125 pounds or less) who have mild to moderate special needs. Receiving therapeutic benefits from horses while working along side qualified volunteers.
Simple ... teaching children and youth to love their neighbor as themselves in an outdoor fun and safe farm atmosphere with the horses as the therapist!
Here at the farm, the horses are named after the books of the Bible. This is an easy way to introduce simple Bible stories that encourage and lift one another up. So we encourage you to come see for yourself what Jesus And Kids Evangelistic Saddle Club is all about; call and schedule a tour today!
