VOLUNTEERING with our Therapeutic Saddle Club!
ADULT and youth volunteers 16 years of age and older: (training available)
* Stable Maintenance
* Horse Leader
* Side Walker
Family Program:
Parent(s) volunteer along side youth, age 10 or older (younger siblings welcome only with additional adult supervision) in training programs.
ADDITIONAL Adults Needed:
Help the ministry in a variety of ways throughout the year with fundraising, grant writing, farm maintenance and much more! Stable volunteers 16 years and older are always welcome.
WHERE?
"New Beginnings" Equestrian Farm is located east of Kansas City, Missouri in Eastern Jackson County. We are off MO F Highway between I-70 and MO 50 Highway. Our programs are conducted in an 80'x150' Outdoor Riding Arena, outdoor 50' Round Pen and Barn.
WHEN?
Therapeutic Saddle Club:
* May, June, September, October
* Tuesday - Friday One day per week
* Seasonal Hours after school or evening
Adult and Family Training Saddle Club Program:
* March-April and July-August
* Tuesday - Friday one day per week
* Seasonal Hours after school or evening
VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES:

Safety first is our motto and strictly enforced - Before the horse, the helmet

Able to walk for approximately one hour and comfortable around horses

Invited to observe TSC program prior to signing up or view Training DVD

New Volunteer Orientation required before scheduling (allow 1 hour)

Criminal Record Check required of
adults 18 years of age and older for a small fee through the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
