JAKES Club - About Us

JAKES Club reaches children for Jesus one child with one horse at a time through therapeutic horsemanship, riding, and sharing the Holy Bible.

In the spring of 2000 Cathie Perry asked, “I wonder if you can do something with Jesus and horses?” and the two-fold vision was clear: Kaleb, then seven years old, (her special needs nephew by heart) was to receive therapeutic horseback riding and teach beginning horsemanship-riding to youth … creating Jesus and Kids!

Immediately, Jesus began bringing family and friends that heard the call of “Jesus And Kids Evangelistic Saddle Club". Soon after, a visiting evangelist shared one last item during a church service, “Someone here is being called to Evangelism…Ease…and Divine Appointments.” This confirmed evangelism in evangelistic saddle club and reminded Cathie of her response to the Lord, “I do not know how or where or when but I will go. ”

Memorial to George Allen
August 5, 1927 - August 19, 2008

George Allen served Jesus And Kids Evangelistic Saddle Club from
2000-2008 in many different capacities.
He was instrumental in founding and mentoring the ministry horses:
Training, Farrier, health and safety. Personally stating,
"Safety first is our motto and strictly enforced."
Words can never express the love and gratitude for our dear friend,
his prayers and wisdom will be greatly missed.
